Oh my, the Muggles are lighting things on fire again. Here I thought we had civilized them.

What unfortunate news has been in the papers these days. I do hope we see a bit of cheer soon. Isn't it almost the holidays? I could have sworn I heard Christmas music in the lift just the other day. Then again, that's probably house elves being presumptuous. They are such awful pests sometimes.

Mr Mildew is a very tidy man. Even in death.

Warded Private
I had forgotten how simple it is to control the weak-willed. Perhaps not as simple as it ought to have been. I must practice rather than playing at these games -- but oh how I do love games. And scotch. And that little boy. Wasn't his name Timmy? No, something Greek -- oh, I do not remember. I am such a wretch at society events. I must make amends with my wife for I am quite certain that I did something unseemly at the Notts, even if I cannot remember it.
Speaking of unseemly, it is terrible how a grown man might contort and twist under the prowess of his own hands. I do hope that I never must hang myself. Though, perhaps for the Cause, I ought to be willing to submit to anything.
Even de No, I cannot. I shall invite the men over, and we'll have a laugh over cards, and Mrs Rosier shall yell, and that shall be life again. As always. Until we may step out of the shadows and take our rightful place in the social hierarchy.

My Lord, these parties are nice but we wonder how we might be of real service to you. Society folks are fickle, and their loyalties will mean nothing until they see tangible results.
I do not, of course, desire to question your wisdom. I am certain that you are already aware of Society's capricious nature. I only wish that I may be of use in furthering our aims.

Warded to the Inner Circle + Voldemort
What is this fuss about PETE, and why is it precisely that I ought to give my servant a holiday? Isn't it enough that I already must doff my hat to a few Mudbloods rather than sending them a well-deserved Cruciatus?
Honestly. Would anyone care for an evening out and a glass of scotch? My wife has other engagements this evening. Therefore, the manor will be free -- for whatever activities the lot of you would wish.

Oh bother, it was only a bit of SCOTCH, Mr Crouch!

My dearest friends, I do hope that you are well after all of these years. It does seem as if it has been longer than it really has. Doesn't it? Well, perhaps I am losing my memory in my old age. Not that I am old, merely ripening as the years progress.
Anyhow, I do wonder if anyone has a received a certain invitation. I will say no more but you will know what it is when / if it arrives.
Do you think our Lord has taken a likening to flying carpets?

Oh dear, a flying carpet in Derbyshire? They have always seemed a bit frivolous to me. I do hope the Minister does not request one. It would be terribly hard to gloss over a flying carpet to the Wizarding public. We are ever so sensitive these days about Muggle well-being.
